IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

aq-thick-white.png

Founded back in 2012 by the visionary singer/songwriter Emily Bones, The Anti-Queens have been carving their unique mark on the international punk rock landscape. With a sound as defiant as their name suggests, they blend raw energy, lyrical depth, and an unapologetic stage presence that captivates audiences everywhere they go.

In 2015, the band's dynamics were further enhanced by the addition of Valerie Knox, a talented singer and guitar player known for her work with Black Cat Attack. Before officially joining The Anti-Queens, Valerie led the band on their first tour across the USA, showcasing her prowess and deep understanding of the punk scene. Her subsequent inclusion as a second guitar player brought a new level of creativity and complexity to the band's sound, setting the stage for their explosive rise in the punk rock n’ roll domain.

The Anti-Queens had already made waves with two compelling EPs, "Grow Up / Stay Young" (2012) and "Start Running" (2015), setting a solid foundation for their ever expanding fanbase. However, it was the release of their self-titled debut full-length album in 2019 under the banner of Stomp Records that truly marked a significant milestone in their journey. The “Self- Titled” album quickly blew past a million streams on Spotify alone and sparked multiple packed tours in Canada, Europe and the US. This release entrenched the band's signature sound showing a depth and complexity that resonated with fans and critics alike, cementing The Anti-Queens' reign in the world of punk rock.

The new album is absolutely rammed with massive pop-punk-rock anthems. From defiant ragers to heartfelt angry love songs to scathing social castigations, Disenchanted is set to be the summertime favourite for rebels, misfits and outcasts.

Throughout their journey, The Anti-Queens have remained a symbol of resilience, creativity, and the unbreakable bond of music. Their narrative is a testament to their ability to adapt, overcome, and inspire, connecting with audiences around the globe through electrifying performances and a genuine commitment to their craft.

The much anticipated 6th album from the band, Belvedere - “Hindsight Is The Sixth Sense” features a furious mix of old and new. Older fans of the band will feel the nostalgia of “Angels Live in my Town” and “’Twas hell Said Former Child”, while enjoying a new direction in song writing with the addition of Dan Wollach on guitar and Ryan Mumby on bass. The speed, the riffs, the insightful lyrics and singalong harmonies are all still there thanks to drummer, Casey Lewis and Lead Singer & Founder, Steve Rawles.

2020 will mark the 25th year of the band’s history. Since most of their 2020 tours in Europe, Canada, and Mexico were moved to 2021; the band felt the need early on to write this 6th full length instalment. The connection with
the band’s fans combined with the band’s work ethic have provided the opportunity for them to tour to over 35 countries and close to 2000 shows.
They’ve been fortunate enough to tour with almost everyone on the punk tour circuit from the smallest to the largest punk bands and have also been included on several editions of many small and mid-level festivals in Europe,
Canada, the US and South America.

The band has continued to build its dedicated fan base through all sizes of venues including a series of late 90’s American basement shows of 30 attendees to Main stage outdoor festival performance of up to 20,000+ people.

Some of their albums have sold close to 20,000 units each and the band has surpassed well over 55,000 physical copies sold of all their catalog combined.
While the industry has taken a hit on physical sales, their last album “The Revenge Of The Fifth” still sold well and had over 5 million unique song streams on Spotify. Always the first to get into the crowd after their show, most of Belvedere’s fans have likely purchased an album directly from the band while many have provided the band a place to stay or meal to eat.
The connection is undeniable and a good reflection as to why the band has endured for so long.

Brutal Youth 2 michaelxcrusty.jpg
BrutalYouth_Logo (1).psd.jpg

Brutal Youth play manic hardcore punk rock. They started out with three simple rules: Play it fast; keep it under 90 seconds and don't be precious about repeating a hook… because when your songs are that short people can always just hit rewind and play 'em again. Over a decade later they've broken every single one of those rules.

Energetic, raw, honest, heart on the sleeve punk rock, Brutal Youth have been causing a ruckus for the last 10+ years. Formed in 2010, the band hit the ground running and recorded their first brutally fantastic album, "Spill Your Guts". Shortly thereafter the group uprooted themselves from their hometown of St. John's, NL and moved to Toronto. After settling in to their new digs, Brutal Youth gained attention locally with their lightning-fast sets and blood-soaked high-intensity performances. A bunch of records and touring ensued.

On Rebuilding Year (their 4th long-player) we find the band once again breaking the rules and rewriting their own playbook. 14 songs that range from mid-tempo melodic sing-alongs, to blistering fast knockout tracks (some that even break the 3 minute mark) on a record all about dealing with personal ruination, redesign, & redemption. Rebuilding Year is the Brutal Youth's most well-constructed and cohesive release to date. Tense and brooding about how life can grind you down into nothing, then melodic and resolute to make those necessary changes for the better because like they say "you get back what you put in.

Brutal Youth are like a bowl full of Frosted Flakes mixed with Captain Crunch; they're great, but they'll fuck up the roof of your mouth.

Another busy year for The Corps from Vancouver as they'll be releasing a split 7 inch record with Fire Sale on Negative Progression Records late spring. Hitting Western Canada with Ignite in June, then back to Europe with Strung out for July. Then pick it up again in the fall, with  headlining a Western and Eastern Canadian tour. Picking up the pace year by year with zero intention of slowing down. Maybe a few more surprises? We'll have to wait and see.

DOA live in Poland.JPG

D.O.A., the Men of Action, will tour the world this year and the band's devoted fans can't wait. D.O.A. founder Joey "Shithead" Keithley, Canada's godfather of punk recently said "You can't stop D.O.A., a lot

of people have tried and failed miserably, so don't waste your time! Ha Ha!"

Joe is backed up by D.O.A.'s powerful rhythm section, which is Paddy Duddy (drums) and Mike Hodsall (bass), this trio have played together for the last nine years. Over D.O.A.'s history, the band has played over 4,000 shows on 5 different continents in 50 different

countries.

D.O.A. started out in a whirlwind of controversy and upheaval. In 1978 three guys' fresh out of high school: Joey Shithead, Chuck Biscuits and Randy Rampage joined the punk rock revolution in February 1978. But they soon realized that there were no record deals coming any time soon. Joey, who was working towards being a civil rights lawyer before he found punk rock, concluded that the band had to take the Do It Yourself approach long before D.I.Y. became popular.

So he formed a fledging record label called Sudden Death Records and the label released D.O.A.'s first snarling slab of vinyl, the Disco Sucks 7" EP. Disco Sucks soon became an underground hit and the band started touring far and wide.

In 1980 Joey Shithead coined the term "hardcore" The band soon released their landmark album Hardcore 81. The album became a hit and the hardcore movement took off and D.O.A. pushed that expression into our common vernacular.

Over the last four decades D.O.A. have released 18 studio albums and sold well over a million albums. The band's albums, shows and attitude has won over three generations of fans and influenced the likes of Guns and Roses, Green Day, Nirvana, Offspring, Henry Rollins, David Grohl and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, to name a few. Joe has also found time to write two books:

I Shithead: A Life in Punk and TALK - ACTION = 0.

From day one, D.O.A. helped organize and lead hundreds of benefit concerts and protests for good and just causes: women's rights, food bank benefits, First Nations rights, union and environmental issues.

They also have organized concerts that have taken a stand against war, racism and weapons proliferation, to name a few issues they have stood up to. In 2019 D.O.A.'s seminal album Hardcore 81 was named one of Canada's all-time great musical accomplishments. Canada's CBC Polaris awards named it one of the best albums of all time, beating the likes of Sarah McLaughlin, The Band, KD Laing and other notable artists. Throughout the past 45 years, the press have referred to Keithley as a cultural politician, trying to change the world from outside the system. As well, many have compared Joe to a modern day Woody Guthrie as he is always looking for a way to stand up for the average person just like his idols Woody and Pete Seeger. Well my friends, Joe got elected in October 2018 as a city councillor in his home town of Burnaby. There is new documentary about this transition in the works called Something Better Change.

Director Scott Crawford (Salad Days and Boy Howdy) and producer Paul Rachman (American Hardcore) have been documenting Joe's journey through politics and music. It is scheduled for release in 2024.

Joe is now changing the system from the inside. He has worked to provide affordable housing, helping the disadvantaged and creating a truly sustainable future. Joe was recently re-elected to second term as city councillor in October 2022.

So that in a few words is D.O.A. When they take their wild, unbridled show live show on the road, it's a must see, because this is one of the last real punk rock bands that still gets out there and kicks ass and tells it like it is. It's always an atmosphere of chaos, veering out of control, but somehow, at the last minute, D.O.A., manages to steer it all in the right direction, so you end up witnessing an incredible event.

And in an indescribable way, you are not quite the same afterwards.

TALK - ACTION = 0

YA HEY! D.O.A. - FORTY YEARS AND GOING STRONG

FILTH is a relentless deathcore force hailing from Shelby, North Carolina, known for their uncompromising heaviness, visceral energy, and brutally honest lyrical themes. Formed in 2015, the band quickly carved out a reputation for delivering punishing breakdowns, savage riffs, and an unfiltered intensity that hits just as hard live as it does on record.

What sets FILTH apart is their seamless incorporation of hip-hop influence into modern deathcore—bringing groove-driven rhythms, bounce-heavy breakdowns, and vocal cadences that hit with the weight and attitude of the streets as much as the pit. The result is a sound that’s both brutally heavy and undeniably infectious, built to move crowds and ignite chaos.

Through relentless touring and standout performances, FILTH has earned a growing reputation within the heavy music community for their authenticity, work ethic, and commanding stage presence. Their live shows are raw, aggressive, and high-energy, creating an atmosphere that’s intense, physical, and impossible to ignore.

FLATS-PROMO2025-15.jpeg

Toronto-raised punk mainstays The Flatliners have been making music together since before they were legal to drive, drink or vote - and their dedication to the craft that keeps their collective flame lit turns out to be rooted more in friendship than anything else. Boasting the same lineup since 2002, guitarist and vocalist Chris Cresswell, guitarist Scott Brigham, bassist Jon Darbey, and drummer Paul Ramirez have spent the last 23 years expertly earning their dues. From dive bars and basement shows to arena stints with Weezer and being masters of the festival circuit, they’ve amassed a dedicated fanbase all through North and South

America, Europe and the UK, Australia and Japan - and even beyond.
But their constant musical evolution over the years suggests that there are many miles still to go. Each time The Flatliners put pen to paper and make new music, it feels like they shed their skin and start over in a way. Not to change entirely, but to grow stronger from their past. To utilize the wisdom of their years.

No strangers to expressing their commentary on the crumbling world around them, The Flatliners’ music and lyrics have become a meeting place for those in need of catharsis from the human experience. And when the world feels as though it’s ready to implode, The Flatliners pop up again. Right when we need them most.

Oozing out of the skateparks, sewers, and graveyards of Vancouver, The Fomites are a three piece skatepunk band.

Mild mannered employees by day, bloodthirsty punk rock monsters by night, they sing about pizza, Stephen King, anti fascism and partying in the face of Armageddon.

Dearly departed, let's get this party started.

Gutter King has never wanted to restrain themselves to just one genre. Every new release feels like an experiment; a step into uncharted territory, and the fans get to experience that excitement of musical discovery alongside the band.

It's safe to say that with Gutter King, expect the unexpected.
Fresh off a Canada wide tour, Gutter King is in the midst of another
musical experiment. Their new EP “Karma Casualty” throws everything into the melting pot. “It feels like a culmination of everything we’ve learned about our own sound, what works and what doesn’t, and how we can keep pushing the envelope to keep ourselves and our fans excited about what we do next,” says guitarist Alan Bremner.

Gutter King is more than just a band: it’s a friendship that has endured trials and tribulations, seen successes and failures, and everything in between. Gutter King is ready to take on the world and is set to make 2026 a year to remember.

Mostly queer, sometimes political, always a damn good time. Mean Bikini are hailed for their fast, and enthusiastic live show. With musical influences that range from skate punk to hardcore they make a point to celebrate the good in the world while tearing down the bad in a way that is pointed and unapologetic, but also inclusive and just plain fun.

Though rather new, Mean Bikini has wasted no time making a name for themselves, putting out two EP’s on Outhouse Records and playing over 25 shows in 2023, including three festivals and a cross canada tour. 2024 doesn’t show any signs of slowing down

If you were ever a punk rocker in Alberta, you’ve probably seen the Motherfuckers whether you wanted to or not. From their humble beginnings opening $5 hall shows to their long-standing residency at the dearly departed Castle Pub, these guys have been a Calgary institution since their first show as “Rowdy Roger and the Motherfuckers” in 1998.

Playing short bursts of frenzied, fast-paced punk rock, the Motherfuckers consistently deliver a relentless and energetic live set. Over the years, they’ve traveled the country multiple times making friends, winning over crowds, and leaving a trail of spilled beer and poorly printed t-shirts in their wake. In this time they’ve shared the stage with everyone from Wesley Willis and Thor to the Planet Smashers, Fear and the Dwarves. Whether they’re playing a community hall, a hot dog restaurant or the hottest nightclub in Medicine Hat, the Motherfuckers provide an experience that won’t soon be forgotten.

After 28 years, the Motherfuckers show no signs of slowing down. Don’t miss them this year with their new hard-hitting 5-piece lineup, featuring the four Fuckers you know and love, with a new mystery guest on guitar.

Real Sickies Logo.psd.png

The year was 2014, the place was Edmonton and the mission was simple. Spread the highly infectious pop punk contagion to the four corners of the earth and beyond. And, just like that, the first wave of Real Sickies was unleashed. A steady stream of demos and EPs quickly established the Sickies as a local virus to be reckoned with. The band fiercely escalated their fever pitch plans of world domination by sharing the stage with heavyweights Stiff Little Fingers, Subhumans, The Real McKenzies, Giuda, Mean Jeans and The Jolts just to name a few. A couple near disasters almost put the Real Sickies out of commission. Lead singer Ben ironically got real sick and required spinal surgery while a couple of founding members stepped down. This would usually be enough to sink any band; but Ben bounced back like a champion, new members stepped up and Real Sickies released their phenomenal debut album “Get Well Soon”. The band immediately shot out on tour making house calls across nation as many new fans happily succumbed to the sickness for the first time.

In 2019 Real Sickies launched their pop punk pathogen straight into the final frontier. “Out Of Space” is thirteen rocket-propelled, turbo-boosted, NASA-disavowed tracks of incurable, infectious bliss. Clocking in around thirty minutes, the album blasts the patient into orbit with plenty of sweet singalong choruses, blazing down-stroke riffs and enough whoa-ohs to infect even the most jaded extraterrestrial.

Now the Sickies are back and ready for Romance. Love Is For Lovers serves up yet another platter full of tasty hooks and punk rock melodies, but this time around with a dash of pop that shows a leap in songwriting craft. Recorded in Edmonton at Rob Lawless’ Physics Lab Studios, the album offers songs that straddle the border between Ramones style aggression and Strokes reminiscent vocal takes. This color-vinyl release includes everything from explosive rockers to heart-wrenching ballads. “Love is for Lovers” is the whole enchilada!

Everybody knows that love is always best when it's shared with friends and with special guests. It was only natural then, that they would hire Dave Bacon of SNFU to add bass and vocals to their cover of T-Rex’s “Jeepster” and for their own “Think of the Sunshine.” When the band was ready to hit their more heartfelt numbers on the album, they enlisted local indie country sensation Lucette. Her soulful and emotive vocals can be heard on the duet “Give and Take.” “We toyed with the idea of a duet for a bit and it made sense for us to keep it local but open up new doors to people we wouldn’t have otherwise gotten a chance to work with,” says singer Ben Disaster of the collaboration.

The band’s advances in songwriting skill is apparent with this latest release, and with good reason. “The album has been in the works since 2018,” says singer Ben Disaster. “We ended up scrapping songs a few times, I guess maybe more so demoing them and re-demoing them. That wasn’t something we had really done in the past. More go go go go go.” A key part of the equation when listening to their new album is the production influence of Real Mckenzies’ bassist Mario Nieva. Ben and Mario met unexpectedly in a B.C. Ferries restroom while their respective bands were on tour. Ben Disaster says of the encounter, “We hit it off talking about mental health and love and music, basic bathroom talk. Mario ended up playing bass for us on the last night of the tour and we decided to get him to come out and lend a fresh set of ears to the album. That's when it started taking a new form.”

The band has already charted at #1 on campus radio for their teaser single “Lover is for Lovers” and the album’s official video for “Communication Breakdown” has racked up close to 100k in views on Youtube. The Real Sickies are itching to get back on the road, and their touring history is proof of their dedication to pounding the pavement. The boys have been on the road with influential and acclaimed artists like Stiff Little Fingers, Subhumans UK, Chixdiggit, Real Mckenzies, Guida, 88 Fingers Louie, Mean Jeans, Ten Foot Pole, and a host of others. As the pandemic seems to be coming close to an end, expect to see Real Sickies in a town near you soon. And as Ben Disaster would have you remember, “No matter who you are you deserve love. Love is for lovers, so go out and get yours today!”

Rong is a Canadian rock band exhibiting a tasteless amount of riffs and fills. They made a splash in 2018 with their absolute banger of a debut EP called "(.)"…pronounced “Period”, and then their subsequent releases of LP "Würst", the holiday classics, “It’s Christmas Time” and "Halloweeniepee", have helped to establish their reputation as a rock band to follow if you like to rock out and have fun. Kristy-Lee Audette, Emilor Jayne, and Byron Slack are a power trio whose friendship and love of rocking spills over into a splash-zone of joy and enthusiasm to all that behold it.
